The backbone of the eTeacher Group programs is the virtual classes in which students take part using video conferencing technology via the Internet. Communications are transmitted by voice, video and "shared blackboard" technology. Video enables the student to see the teacher, and the teacher can see every student who has a web cam.
Teacher and students speak using microphones attached to the computer, and course content is transmitted via multimedia applications on the computer screen. In addition to conversations, the video and "shared blackboard" enable students to watch movies, listen to audio files and surf the Internet together.
eTeacher group provides several types online lesson formats:

|
Group Language Lessons. Taught to a small group of students (adults) of the same level. Group lessons enable interaction not only between teacher and student, but also between the students in the group, enriching their speaking and comprehension skills. Currently, eTeacher offers English, Chinese, Modern Hebrew and Biblical Hebrew courses.

Live Homework Help. On-demand assistance for school children. Teachers of core subjects are “on-call” online ready to offer their assistance. Students who have a subscription can log on after school hours, and ask for specific help with their homework or when preparing for an exam. The teachers use an electronic blackboard to demonstrate exercises if needed.

Private Lessons. School students and adults can sign up for private lessons which are taught online with a professional teacher. The teacher controls and directs the rhythm of the class based on the progress and the needs of each student. Each lesson features assessments, drills and comprehension checks. Before each class, students are required to complete homework exercises from the workbooks that are assigned to them in advance.
